Back to Top - About Us - Home PageFrank Peronace - Bass and Backing Vocal
Frank started out as the bass player in his school rock band and went on to play in various styles of bands including Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Funk and Blues. Music is his passion and he has performed with some great acts, both locally and overseas. Over the years, Frank has sought the advice and tuition of local bass greats, such as Yannis Bardas, Maurice Palumbo, Phil Scorgie, and recently, one of the greatest bass players in the country, Steve Hunter. His technical brilliance and soulful playing style with its groove and funk feel is part of what gives The Tuners the solid and full sound for which they are renowned. This, combined with his musicianship and personality on a stage, ensures The Tuners are not only great to listen to but entertaining to watch. Back to Top - About Us - Home PageNick Citadino - DrumsNick has been playing drums for a lot of years, he has played in all types of bands and covered various styles of music. At the tender young age of 14 Nick played his first professional gig (paid $50.00 bucks) from there it was get out there and play any gig that comes along. From Funk, Pop, Jazz, Latin, Country & Western, Orchestral and just about every club in Sydney backing a multitude of artists, Nick has paid his dues. He has always been the driving force in any band he has joined, with a passion for groove keeping it solid, this has placed Nick in a league of his own. This guy is a perfectionist, every gig has to be spot on, no matter if there is only a few people in the crowd or a packed house of 12 thousand people at the Entertainment centre (by way he has played there with many overseas artist’s) every gig is important. Not to be complacent, he also plays percussion and just like when he is behind a drum kit its full on. To his credit this has given him the opportunity to play some cool gigs on percussion. (Gloria Estefan tribute show) now there’s a challenge for any percussionist. Give this dude a Bass Guitar and he will slap it like Mark king (level 42) rhythm is what he is all about. He also teachers drums & percussion & has for a number of years. Jan Grman - Available if required.
His great skills, personality and open mindedness in music have made him a very versatile player and he was a perfect fit musically for The Tuners and is an important member of the team. Jan has been working with songwriters in Sydney as an arranger and keyboard player. |
